Annual Club BBQ and Members Show 2021

On the 11^th July 2021 the club held its annual BBQ and members show. It was in glorious sunshine with a full attendance up to maximum covid permitted amount of 30 members.This was the first occasion that we have been able to start the current  season together since last year.

The venue was at Peter and Sandra Stevens farm with the lovely manicured gardens all laid out to perfection for the event.

Because the event for 2020 birds neither were nor exhibited. Peters Swindle birds (2 x Ring numbers nominated to compete against each other).was also in addition to the any age and year bred classes. This resulted in 99 birds being exhibited in the members show. A great turn out from 9 members who brought birds.Judge Beverly Hutt kindly agreed agreed to attend to jusge the birds.

Bev was also asked to judge the Swindle birds which came in all shapes sizes and colours and for the top 4 birds came with over £140 in cash.

Bev worked long and hard and must have enjoyed her judging engagement and made a point of addressing the party and said there was some cracking birds.it was good to be back and had a lovely day

The show was well sponsored owing to the efforts of the club chairman Bill Squires and an array of raffle prizes. The club thanks the following sponsors for their kind support.

Gold bedding 8 bags of bedding

Haiths voucher for a bag of seed

AVI Form 4 bottles of their product

In addition to the above there was over 20 significant raffles prizes. The entrance fee for as many birds,BBQ and Raffle was only £10.But the club still made nearly £200
