2024 Annual General Meeting

IPSWICH B.S. JANUARY MEETING by Ghalib Al-Nasser
At the recent society’s AGM held in January the following officers were elected: Peter Stevens will
serve his second term as president and Martin Frost as president elect. Other officers elected were:
Ghalib Al-Nasser, chairman & show organiser; Graham Barton, vice chairman; Michael Locking,
secretary; Sandra Stevens, membership secretary & treasurer; Graham Barton & George McMillan,

joint show managers; Ian Thorogood, show secretary for the open show and Janice Al-Nasser for
the specialist & rare variety show; Ghalib Al-Nasser, publicity officer; Sandra Stevens, social
secretary; Bill Squires, sponsorship officer; John Gibbons, webmaster controller and Graham
Barton, auditor.

The society will hold its usual BBQ on 30 th June and Adrian Terheege has been invited to judge the
show. This event will also be organised as an inter-club competition with Cambridgeshire BS.
The society will be staging the Lincolnshire & East Anglia BS (LEA) area championship show on
28 th July and the judges invited are Gavin Carter, Michael Chapman, Brian Scott & Ian Standley.
The society will also be staging the Lincolnshire & East Anglia BS (LEA) specialist & rare variety
show championship show on 5 th October at Risby and the judges invited are Rick Carson & Phil
Reaney.

This year the AGM will be held on January 25th
