LEA SPECIALIST & RARE VARIETY OPEN SHOW 2024        reported by Ghalib Al-Nasser

The Ipswich BS hosted the Lincolnshire & East Anglia BS specialist & rare variety show early October for the second year running at Risby, near Bury St. Edmunds. The society used a similar format as last year by starting late in the morning to encourage exhibitors attending and invited Dave Woan to engage with exhibitors who were not stewarding. This session proved to be a success.

Rick Carson & Phil Reaney judged the show which received a lower total entry from last year of 218 from 20 exhibitors of which 158 birds were benched.

The best of the 16 colour awards were shared by many exhibitors who supported the show with names with * indicating that they have won the Best Variety Overall.
