SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS
This show is held under the Show Rules of the Budgerigar Society and all exhibits must be shown in the Budgerigar Society Standard Show Cage.
Entry forms unaccompanied by entry fees will not be accepted. The Show Committee reserves the right to refuse entries without assigning a reason. The Show Committee can also appoint Judges and modify allocation if necessary.
Birds cannot be re-classified at the Show and birds incorrectly entered will be wrong classed. If the number given on the Entry Form does not correspond with the description, the number will be taken as correct.
Class numbers should be in numerical order on the Entry Form.
The Entry Form clearly indicates where nominations should be written and those
indicated elsewhere will be ignored.
ALL BIRDS MUST BE STAGED BY 930amON THE Sunday MORNING

Judging Commences 10.00am Prompt on Saturday
Exhibitors may state a price at which they will sell the exhibit (less cage) in the column on the Entry Form. 20% will be deducted by the promoters. No claim will be accepted prior to 1.30pm on the Sunday. All sales must go through the Sales Office. Sales class birds may be removed when sold, but birds in the status classes must remain until the Show closes.
Every precaution will be taken to secure the welfare of the birds but the entire risk and responsibility remains with the exhibitor. The organisers will not be responsible for
damage to, or loss of birds, cages or cases.
Only Show Officials will be allowed in the hall during Judging and the Show Manager is authorised to ask any person to leave the hall.
No person may handle any exhibit without the presence of a Steward or Official.
Photographs may be taken in the hall with prior permission from the Show Manager.
The use of Judging Sticks or similar implements will, in the interest of the exhibits, be discouraged by the Show Manager and his Staff.
With the Show Manager’s permission, exhibits will be released at 3.30pm on Saturday.
Any person wishing to lodge a complaint shall deposit the sum of £10 with the protest in writing to the Show Manager not later than 3pm on Sunday. The Show Committee will then investigate and their decision will be final. Should the protest be ruled without
adequate foundation the deposit may be forfeited. All exhibitors must pay admission fee.
The Show Committee reserve the right to refuse cages not of an acceptable standard.
