The society held its Young Stock Bird Show at its May monthly meeting and invited Janice Al-Nasser, past chair person and past president of the society, to judge the show.

 

There were 35 birds benched from 7 exhibitors in the 6 classes provided. After judging each class, the best in show went to a lovely smart grey yellow cock benched by the society president Peter & Sandra Stevens. Followed in second place was Michael Locking, society secretary, with his light green cock. An opaline skyblue cock was placed third best for former secretary John Gibbens who also benched fourth best with an opaline cinnamon dark green cock. Fifth place went to Michael Locking with a dominant pied grey hen. The best barhead in show went to George McMillan with his light green hen.
